At a recent team offsite, we explored which of these we are best positioned to contribute to and which align closest with our personal values. We respect and celebrate that we each have our own values, however, environmental protection is particularly aligned with our collective values.
When we developed our organisational 10-year strategy in 2021, becoming carbon neutral in 2022 was a big part of our aspiration. As we continue to grow, we want to minimise our impact on the environment and sustainably undertake our business.
As the next step in our sustainability journey, we partnered with trace, a female-founded Australian tech company focused on helping businesses become carbon neutral. Working with trace, we were able to understand and offset 100% of our carbon from the past 12 months, and have committed to continuing to build our understanding, reduce our carbon footprint and offset what we use each year.
We are excited to be leaving a positive trace by funding certified climate projects and reforestation projects around the world.
